Dorman 977-002 Idle Relearn Tool Kit 08-24 Pontiac Montana Chevy Uplander

On certain General Motors vehicles, the idle relearn process that's needed after replacing or cleaning an electronic throttle body requires an expensive scan tool or many time-consuming drive cycles. This handy and affordable Dorman OE FIX GM idle relearn tool eliminates the time those drive cycles take, and the high cost of a suitable scan tool. This dongle connects to the OBD-II port on specified GM vehicles. This tool helps the vehicle learn the parameters of a new or used throttle body, eliminating the post-installation drive-ability concerns that occur until the ECU learns the new throttle position. This innovative time-saver belongs in every technician's toolbox and is inexpensive enough to pay for itself with just one use by any DIYer.

• Saves time - this GM idle relearn tool is an innovative dongle that automatically recalibrates a newly installed electronic throttle body, eliminating the need for post-installation drive time
• Saves money - streamlines the installation or reinstallation of an electronic throttle body and requires no expensive scan tool or specialized skills
• Affordable technology - engineered for reliable and long service life as a cost-effective handy tool for both professional service technicians and do-it-yourselfers
